Introducing TRET: a real estate CRM built for how India sells homes
TRET is live. One CRM for Indian builders and channel partners: every lead in one list, site visits, live inventory, bookings and payment schedules.
Today we are opening TRET, The Real Estate Thingy, to builders, developers, channel partners and their sales teams. Here is why it exists, what it does, what it costs and how to use your first week well.
Why did we build a real estate CRM for Indian builders?
We kept seeing the same picture. Leads arrive from 99acres, MagicBricks, Housing.com, Meta ads and WhatsApp, and land in five different places. Inventory lives in an Excel file that is out of date by lunch. Site visits are in a notebook. Nobody can say which lead was called, by whom, or when.
Generic CRMs do not fix this, because they model deals. Builders sell units, in towers, in projects, through channel partners, over months. TRET is built around that shape from the first screen. We wrote more about what we saw in the site offices in why we built TRET: the spreadsheet, the WhatsApp groups and the lost leads.
What does TRET do for a builder's sales team?
TRET follows the same path a buyer does, from the first enquiry to the keys. The homepage walks through it as five chapters: capture, follow-up, site visits, inventory and after the booking. Here is what is in the box:
- Every lead in one list, from portals, ads, your website, WhatsApp and walk-ins, with duplicates caught and a response clock on every new lead.
- Automatic assignment, so leads reach the right person in seconds.
- Follow-ups and one-tap calling and WhatsApp, with every conversation logged against the lead.
- Site visits: schedule, confirm, check in and record the outcome.
- Live inventory by project, tower, floor and unit, with holds that link straight to a lead.
- A link for each channel partner to register clients and follow their progress, with commissions calculated at booking.
- Bookings with payment schedules, demand notes and a page for the buyer to follow progress.
- Reports on sources, conversion, team activity and collections.
Some of these matter more than a list suggests. A hold on a unit runs out on its own, 48 hours unless you choose otherwise, so a flat cannot stay blocked for a buyer who went cold. When two channel partners register the same client, the first registration wins, with a timestamp. And because every lead keeps its source, reports show which portal brings bookings, not just form fills.
How is TRET different from a generic CRM?
Generic CRMs track contacts and deals. TRET understands projects, towers, floors and units; site visits; channel partners; and what happens after the booking. Booking a unit is one action: it turns booked everywhere and the payment schedule opens with it.
Most CRMs stop at “won”. For a builder, that is where agreements, instalments and possession begin, and TRET keeps them in the same place. For a fuller picture, see how TRET works as a real estate CRM for builders.
Does TRET work on a phone at the site office?
Site teams do not sit at desks. The TRET Android app has the same leads, visits, inventory and calendar, with a home screen that shows exactly what is due today.
From the app, a salesperson can hold or book a unit from the tower view and add unit photos with the phone camera. Push notifications tell them the moment a new lead is assigned.
How much does TRET cost?
Growth is ₹1,299 per user per month, billed quarterly, plus GST, from 2 users, with no setup fee. Enterprise is priced on request for groups running many projects. Every workspace starts with the same 7-day free trial.
Onboarding, data import and training are included, and there are no add-ons to buy. For the full numbers for a team of 2, 5 or 10, read what a real estate CRM really costs in India.
Where is your data kept, and who owns it?
TRET runs on Amazon Web Services in Mumbai. Your leads and your buyers' details are yours: exportable at any time, and never sold or shared for advertising.
Access depends on role: sales heads and owners see the whole team, executives see only their own numbers. Every change is audit-logged.
How do you get started with TRET in your first week?
Start small and real: one project, a couple of salespeople and leads they are already working.
- Start the trial. Open a 7-day free trial with everything switched on. No card is needed, so nobody has to raise a purchase request before you can look around.
- Set up one project. Add its towers and units by hand, or import the whole unit list from a CSV. Each unit carries its floor, configuration, area, facing and price.
- Bring your existing leads across. Import last month's portal export or the sheet your team already keeps, as CSV or Excel. TRET matches the columns, skips phone numbers it already has and assigns every new lead by your rules.
- Turn on assignment and the response clock. Choose round robin for a fair spread, add rules by source or project where one person knows a site best, and keep the 15-minute response target.
- Send each channel partner their link. Partners register clients through it instead of a WhatsApp group, and the first registration is credited with a timestamp.
- Review at the end of the week. Open the breached filter to find leads nobody touched, and check the Visits screen for no-shows that still need a call.
If you would rather be walked through it, book a demo and we will set it up with your own project names and lead sources.
