Launch week: what we shipped in TRET's first three days
A calendar that plans your day, notifications where you want them, shareable unit pages with photos, and live payments with proper GST invoices.
TRET went live on Thursday. The first teams moved their leads in, booked site visits for the weekend, and told us exactly what got in their way. Here is what changed since launch. Each change sits inside one of the five chapters of TRET, from capturing a lead to after the booking, and most of them started as a message from a sales team.
How does TRET's calendar plan a salesperson's day?
A salesperson's day is calls, WhatsApps, site visits, travel between projects and chasing instalments. Until now those lived in different lists. The new Calendar puts all of it on one timeline: follow-ups, site visits, personal blocks like travel or lunch, and payments falling due on your bookings.
You can drag things around to match what is actually possible on the ground, and TRET warns you when two things overlap or when two site visits at different projects leave you too little time to get between them. Managers can open a teammate's day and rearrange it with them.
Moving a follow-up reschedules it on the lead's timeline too, and moving a site visit updates the visit, so the lead page, the visits board and the calendar never disagree. Overdue follow-ups are pinned to today so they cannot slip off the edge of the screen. There is a fuller tour in plan the day you'll actually have: inside TRET's calendar.
When does the plan of the day arrive, and how early are reminders?
Every morning at 8:30 TRET sends a short plan of the day: how many things are due, what is overdue and what comes first. Then, before each call, visit or meeting, you get a reminder. Each person chooses how early: 5, 10, 15, 30 or 60 minutes.
The point is to start the day with a plan rather than a queue, and to decide the order before the first family arrives.
Where do TRET notifications go?
Email is the wrong place for “a new lead was just assigned to you”. TRET now sends push notifications to the Android app and to your browser, and each person picks their channels: app, browser, email, or any mix.
A new lead notification carries the lead's name, source, project and number. Reminders follow the same choice, so nobody checks three places to know what is next.
How do you send a unit to a buyer on WhatsApp?
Every unit now has its own page you can send to a buyer on WhatsApp: configuration, carpet area, facing, price and photos, with your name and number on it. Add photos from the web or straight from your phone's camera in the app. Buyers do not need to log in, and these pages are kept out of search engines.
The page also shows how many similar units are still available, which tends to speed up decisions. It is a better thing to send than a photo of a spreadsheet, and because it reads from live inventory across towers, the status the buyer sees is the current one.
How does TRET handle GST on its invoices?
Checkout now runs on Razorpay with UPI, cards and netbanking. Every invoice carries your legal name, GSTIN and place of supply, and splits tax the right way: CGST and SGST inside Maharashtra, IGST everywhere else. Add your GSTIN and the state is picked up from it automatically.
If your company is registered, the GSTIN on the invoice means you can claim the input tax credit. The Growth plan is ₹1,299 per user per month, billed quarterly, with GST added on top and no setup fee.
What happens to your data when a trial ends?
If a trial ends before you pick a plan, your workspace becomes read-only instead of locking you out. Every lead, visit and booking is still there to see and export. Pick a plan and you carry on exactly where you left off.
How do you set up the launch week features for your team?
Most of this is a personal choice, so it is worth each person spending a few minutes on it on the first day.
- Pick your notification channels. Each person chooses app, browser, email or any mix. People who spend the day at site offices usually want the app; people at a desk may prefer the browser.
- Choose how early reminders come. Pick 5, 10, 15, 30 or 60 minutes. A longer lead time helps before site visits that involve travel, a shorter one suits back-to-back calls.
- Block the time that is not selling. Add travel, lunch or team meetings as personal blocks, so the calendar shows the day you will actually have and clash warnings mean something.
- Add photos to your units. Upload them on the web or take them with the phone camera in the app, so the unit page you send on WhatsApp shows the flat itself.
- Enter your GSTIN before checkout. The state is picked up from it, and every invoice shows the right CGST and SGST or IGST split.
- Let managers look at the week. Sales heads can open a teammate's calendar and move things around with them, which is the quickest way to spot an overloaded Saturday.
What is coming next for TRET?
- The Android app on Google Play.
- Account deletion from inside the app and the web.
- More lead sources, based on what you ask for.
If something is slowing your team down, tell us on WhatsApp. Most of this week's work started as a message from a sales team.
FAQ
Does TRET's calendar warn about clashes?
Yes. It tells you when two things overlap, and when two site visits at different projects are less than 30 minutes apart, because nobody gets from one site office to another that fast.
Can I get TRET notifications without email?
Yes. TRET sends push notifications to the Android app and to your browser, and each person picks their channels: app, browser, email, or any mix.
Do buyers need to log in to see a unit page?
No. Buyers open the link you send on WhatsApp without logging in, and unit pages are kept out of search engines.
